All types of laboratory tests can be ordered confidentially through our website. When placing your order you can pick the location where you would like the tests performed. Once you have paid and set up your account, you print your requisition and take it to your chosen location to have the blood test carried out privately.

The following are the primary laboratory tests that physicians order during your annual exams. Caution: stick with the basics. Large organ related panels may cost up to 5 or 10 times as much.
Hemogram: COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT (CBC) W/DIFFERENTIAL             Price: $44.99

Includes: Hematocrit; hemoglobin; mean corpuscular volume (MCV); mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH); mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC); red cell distribution width (RDW); percentage and absolute differential counts; platelet count; red cell count; white blood cell count; immature granulocytes. Repeat every two years.

URINE – ROUTINE AND MICROSCOPIC EXAMINATION        Price: $39.99 – $51.49

Often the first lab test performed, this is a general screening test used to check for early signs of disease. It may also be used to monitor diabetes or kidney disease. Repeat every two years.

BASIC METABOLIC PANEL  Repeat every five years  Price: $60

This test measures glucose, sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride, carbon dioxide, blood urea nitrogen and creatinine which can help determine blood sugar level, electrolyte and fluid balance as well as kidney function. The Basic Metabolic Panel can help your doctor monitor the effects of medications you are taking, such as high blood pressure medicines, can help diagnose certain conditions, or can be part of a routine health screening. You may need to fast for up to 12 hours before this test.

LIPID PANEL If elevated, repeat every one to two years         Price: $66
The lipid panel is a group of tests used to evaluate cardiac risk. It includes cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

For Diabetics: Hemoglobin A1c Levels every year or per physicians direction. Price: $60

CHEST X-RAY:    Price: $54 An initial exam done in the 3rd or 4th decade of life with repeats based on the findings. (On MD save, the cost of a Chest X-ray ranges from $54 to $438.) This is an x-ray exam of your heart and lungs with some basic function of each.

ECG:   Price: $50;  Once after age 40. Exercise ECG never unless you have cardiac symptoms: $175  
(An EKG costs about $50, and an exercise stress ECG $175 or more.)
